"I believe anybody who tells you he is unbiased is a liar. Being human gives you bias, and you can't avoid that. The best you can ever hope to be is fair."

10 Races are all that have been run at Chicagoland Speedway at the Cup level, and until this year, all the races were run in July.

9 fire stations are in the city of Joliet, and they respond to more than 19,000 calls per year.

8 drivers in the field for Sunday's race have a previous win at Chicagoland. Six of them are in the Chase. Neither guy inside Jimmie Johnson's head (Jimmie or his BFF Kurt Busch) have won here.

7 out of 10 races at this track have been won by Chevrolet. Toyota has two wins, and Dodge has one. Of course all of that adds up to a big ol' goose egg for Ford, though they did once win a Busch race in 2003, driven by Bobby Hamilton, Jr.

6 different Dollar Stores are in the city of Joliet, where Chicagoland Speedway is located.

5 drivers will miss the race this weekend if qualifying is rained out and the field is set on points. Those five are David Stremme, T.J. Bell, Travis Kvapil, Stephen Leicht, and David Starr.

4 drivers have finished on the lead lap of every race they've run at Chicago, and they would be Brian Vickers (5 races), Clint Bowyer (5 races), Juan Pablo Montoya (4 races), and A.J. Allmendinger (3 races).

3 laps have been led by Kurt Busch in Chicago where he's raced 2,412 laps. However, Jimmie Johnson has led 326 laps, so depending upon just how long Kurt's been in Jimmie's head, he may be credited with as many as 329 laps led!

2 races have been won here from outside the top 20 starting spots, one by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (25th), and the other by Kevin Harvick (32nd).

1 race was run here by Derrike Cope. He drove six laps and finished 43rd. He earned more than $59,000. Well, as they say, there's your problem! If Matt Kenseth had earned the same dollar/lap equivalent as Derrike Cope, he'd have pocketed more than $26,000,000 at this track alone.

329 laps led for Kurt, I love it!

So if I go drive 6 lap at Chicagoland I can make almost as much as I make per year for 40 hours a week!! I would run 6 laps at Chicagoland for that, just maybe not all at the same time!!!!!

I think I'd be able to run six laps at Chicagoland in a single race. Granted, not in one run, since I'd get maybe three in before clouting the wall, then have us be able to patch the car up enough to go back out and get black-flagged for not meeting minimum speed, giving me an out lap and an in lap (making *sure* to cross the finish line in the pits before hitting the garage each time!) for a total of six...

The hard part, of course, would be A) getting into the race in the first place, and B) having to give up half of that to the car owner. But then, even my share of the purse would easily pay my tuition and living expenses for a full year...
